The OPTION PRO-Edition for the Volkswagen T6.1 was specifically developed for the discerning listener seeking the perfect balance between sound quality and design. This system elevates the audio experience in your Transporter, Multivan, or California to an audiophile level, without the need for major modifications or additional amplifiers.
The highlight of this set is the revised PRO tweeters. These provide ultra-fine detail resolution and impressive spatiality, making it feel as though the artist is performing directly on your dashboard. The tweeters are finished with brushed stainless steel design grilles, instantly giving your interior a luxurious, high-end appearance.
What is the difference compared to the standard OPTION T6.1 speaker set?
The PRO-Edition utilizes further optimized tweeters and a specifically tuned crossover. This makes the high-frequency reproduction even more detailed and smooth. Additionally, you receive the exclusive stainless steel grilles that are not included with the standard set.
Is this set difficult to install?
No, the set is designed for DIY enthusiasts. A special milling bit is included for the tweeters, allowing you to easily remove the original grille, after which the PRO tweeter clicks perfectly into place. The woofers are mounted in the original location using the supplied rivets.
Do I need an additional amplifier for this set?
No, that is not necessary. Due to the high efficiency (91 dB) and 3-Ohm impedance, this set performs excellently on the original radio. Should you want more power later, the set is also perfectly compatible with a DSP amplifier.
Can I restore the original look when selling the car?
Yes, the original grille can eventually be reattached with a drop of adhesive, making the modification completely invisible.
